European Clean Hydrogen Alliance
L'Alliance européenne pour l'hydrogène GEMESIS becomes a member of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance. The Alliance supports the large-scale deployment of clean hydrogen technologies by 2030, combining renewable and low-carbon hydrogen production, demand in industry, mobility and other sectors, as well as hydrogen transport and distribution.
The alliance aims to promote investments and stimulate the deployment of clean hydrogen production and use. Created in July 2020, the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance is part of the EU's efforts to ensure industrial leadership and accelerate decarbonization of the industry in line with its climate change objectives.
The European Clean Hydrogen Alliance brings together industry, public authorities, civil society and other stakeholders. Alliance members meet twice a year at the Hydrogen Forum to discuss the large-scale deployment of clean hydrogen technologies and what it requires. Six thematic working groups meet throughout the year and focus on the different links in the hydrogen value chain.
