FC Lab has become the first user of the GMS HU15, the new humidification system developed by Gemesis for fuel cell and electrolyzer testing up to 15 kW. This first installation marks a new milestone in our collaboration and confirms the operational launch of our new product range dedicated to hydrogen testing.
A new milestone in our partnership with FC Lab
Following the retrofit of four test benches using the GEMS platform, Gemesis continues its collaboration with FC Lab with the delivery of the first GMS HU15 module.
This new-generation humidifier is designed to meet the needs of laboratories and industrial companies developing fuel cell and electrolyzer systems up to 15 kW.
This first installation reflects Gemesis' commitment to supporting its partners with increasingly efficient and easily integrated testing solutions.
The GMS HU15 in a few numbers

| Air flow rate | 3 to 1,200 Nl/min |
| Hydrogen flow rate | 22 to 320 Nl/min |
| Humidity | 0 to 100% RH |
| Temperature | 20 to 90°C |
| Communication | CAN (industrial protocols available as an option) |
| Software | GEMS compatible |
The GMS HU15
The GMS HU15 is a standalone, mobile humidification system that can be easily integrated into existing test benches.
Designed to simplify installation and operation, it can be controlled through:
- GEMS, the software platform developed by Gemesis;
- any compatible control software via a CAN interface;
- proprietary software developed in-house;
- third-party software solutions.
This open architecture enables seamless integration into virtually any testing environment.
Precise humidity control
The GMS HU15 provides highly accurate control of the humidification conditions required for fuel cell testing.
Its key features include:
- Humidification of both air and hydrogen lines;
- Bubble humidification technology for outstanding stability;
- Precise humidity regulation;
- Compact, mobile architecture;
- Fast integration into existing test benches;
- Standard CAN communication.
These capabilities allow the GMS HU15 to reproduce reliable and repeatable test conditions, which are essential for the development and validation of hydrogen technologies.
Designed for efficient operation
The system has been developed to minimize maintenance requirements and reduce operational constraints.
Its architecture also facilitates integration into environments subject to stringent regulatory requirements while reducing the need for complex interventions during commissioning and operation.
A product range dedicated to hydrogen testing
With the GMS HU15, Gemesis continues to expand its portfolio of equipment dedicated to hydrogen testing.
Our objective is to provide high-performance, open, and interoperable modules that can be integrated into both new test benches and existing installations.
This first delivery to FC Lab marks the operational launch of the GMS HU15 and represents an important milestone in the development of our product range for fuel cell and electrolyzer testing.
