A Flexible and Scalable Platform for Your Laboratories
GMS BIOLAB 360 is an open, modular and reconfigurable laboratory automation platform designed to automate biological processes ranging from sample preparation to more complex analytical protocols.
The platform can combine different laboratory functions within a single system, including pipetting, centrifugation, shaking, vortexing, pumping, liquid aspiration, temperature control and automated handling of plates or consumables.
The objective is simple: automate a complete protocol while maintaining the flexibility to modify and expand the system over time.
An Open and Reconfigurable Architecture
Unlike an automation system dedicated to a single protocol, BIOLAB 360 is based on an open architecture.
The different modules can be added, replaced or reorganized to adapt the platform to new workflows, consumables or analytical methods.
This approach makes it possible to build an initial configuration and evolve it according to laboratory requirements, without replacing the entire system.
GEMESIS can also integrate third-party instruments, analyzers and equipment specific to the customer's process.
Modules Available Independently as OEM Solutions
All equipment developed for BIOLAB 360 is also available as independent OEM modules.

GEMS, the Software at the Heart of BIOLAB 360
The platform is controlled by a version of GEMS adapted to laboratory applications.
GEMS coordinates the different modules, creates automated sequences, configures protocols and manages the data generated during laboratory processes.
The software architecture remains open, allowing communication with GEMESIS equipment as well as external instruments.
