GEMESIS is now a member of MabDesign, the French association representing the biopharmaceutical industry.
This membership marks a new step in the
development of our activities in the Life Sciences, particularly in laboratory
automation, biomanufacturing, and testing systems.
Joining an ecosystem dedicated to biotherapies and biomanufacturing
MabDesign's MabDesign’s mission is to support, structure, bring together, and increase the visibility of the biopharmaceutical industry. Its network brings together pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, service providers, training organizations, high-tech equipment suppliers, and specialized consultants.
For GEMESIS, joining this network is an opportunity to strengthen our presence within this ecosystem and develop new interactions with industry stakeholders.
Automation for biological workflows
This membership also supports the development of GMS BIOLAB 360, our open, modular, and reconfigurable platform dedicated to the automation of biological workflows.
BIOLAB 360 can combine different automation functions within a single architecture:
- pipetting;
- sample and consumable handling;
- centrifugation ;
- shaking;
- aspiration ;
- pumping;
- temperature control.
The different modules can be integrated into the BIOLAB 360 platform, but can also be used independently as OEM modules or integrated into equipment developed by our partners.
Our goal is to provide automation solutions that can adapt to workflows and their evolution, rather than limiting laboratories to a fixed configuration.
Developing exchanges and collaborations
Another key benefit of the MabDesign network is the opportunity it provides for interaction between the various stakeholders across the industry. MabDesign organizes scientific and industrial events, develops networking and matchmaking initiatives, and provides services designed to support the growth of companies in the sector.
