GEMESIS is opening a new testing service dedicated to fuel-cell anode recirculation components with the GMS TS 001.
The platform enables hydrogen components to be tested under representative operating conditions, directly at the GEMESIS facility.
Testing components under representative conditions
The GMS TS 001 reproduces a complete anode recirculation loop. Unlike a single-pass test bench, the gas circulates in a closed loop, allowing components to be characterised under combined back-pressure, temperature and humidity conditions.
The platform is designed for testing:
- Recirculation blowers
- Ejectors and jet pumps
- Pressure control valves
- Water/gas separators
- Complete anode modules
The bench supports a closed loop of up to 37.5 kg/h, hydrogen supply up to 9 kg/h at 12 bar(a) and climatic testing from -25 to +85°C. It also integrates steam and liquid-water humidification, high-voltage supply up to 1000 V DC, and fast acquisition down to 1 ms on dedicated channels.
A testing service operated by GEMESIS
The GMS TS 001 is not offered as equipment for sale. GEMESIS performs the test campaigns directly at its own facility.
The process is straightforward: the customer provides the test requirement and component, GEMESIS defines the test plan, performs the campaign and delivers the raw data and test report.
Each campaign follows six steps:
1. Feasibility → 2. Test plan & fixed price → 3. Installation & checks → 4. Test campaign in GEMS → 5. Data & report → 6. Sample return
GEMESIS provides a feasibility response within one week of receiving the test specification, validates the test plan with the customer before testing, and delivers raw data in an open format. Test results remain the customer's property.
